Genre is a style or category of film, art, music or literature

Sub-Genre:

Sub-Genre is a subdivision of a genre in music or film

Types of Genres:

• Crime 
• Drama 
• Thriller

• Sci-Fi 
• Western
• Romance

My favourite two genres in film are: Crime and Drama.

Crime & Drama:

The Crime and Drama genres of film are my favourite genres because they can both explore lots of different things and can also add other genres to them to make them better. Furthermore when films add crime genre and drama genres together it always works.  An example of this is the TV show 'Top Boy'.

The show Top Boy was a great crime, drama because it explored lots of different things in London and went into very explicit detail to make the show better, I feel that the crime genre enables directors and produces to this so they can make there shows and films good.
